James Gardin once again proves that he's cut from the illest cloth and tailor-made for any season - especially this one. Soul Rich finds The World's Most Encouraging Rapper forging a new partnership with Japan's Toshiki Hayashi(%C). James' melodic musings are a perfect fit for Toshiki's crunchy groove. James' makes it clear that lives get touched and haters get hushed with a smooth and confident flow which he's perfected over the years. He may not have a lot of cream, but he will make it something happen with a dollar and a dream. He sounds right at home over the pensively funky guitar snaps which would get the gun finger salute at any Hip Hop show. There is nothing like that intangible peace from knowing your value doesn't come from material wealth.
