A Watership Beat Down is divided into three parts. In the first part, paralleling the opening chapter of the book, a sense of impending tragedy is suggested. In the second part, a commitment to hope against all odds is avowed. The third part attempts to ambitiously catalog all of my personal threats, external and internal, real and imagined. The song says something about the despair in our lives but the hope that Divine character promises.
