Underground producer extraordinaire Don Baker, a.k.a. Dert, returns to the role of solo artist with his second instrumental album, 2008’s The Short List. This tranquil yet upbeat project continues the electronic landscape first laid down on Dert’s debut beat tape, Fledgling, while lacing in the sweet sounds of acoustic guitars, piano, strings, and drums.
